Features
Every feature started as a complaint from a clinician who was still charting at 9pm.
Set your phone on the desk and tap once. No wearable, no dictation voice, no awkward pauses. Annota separates speakers and ignores small talk.
SOAP, H&P, procedure and follow-up formats tuned for 31 specialties, from paediatrics to orthopaedics to psychiatry.
Tap any sentence in the draft to hear the exact moment it came from. Nothing enters the note that was not said in the room.
Copy into any record with formatting intact, or push directly to Epic, Oracle Health and athenaOne with our early-access integrations.
Encrypted end to end, hosted in-region, BAA included. Audio is deleted when you sign the note, and nothing is used to train models.
Prefer terse bullet points or full prose? Annota adapts to your edits, so by week two the draft reads like you wrote it.
Our story
In 2021 Dr. Maya Okafor counted how she spent a typical clinic day. Of eleven hours, four went to the keyboard. She had trained to listen to people and was spending her consultations typing while they talked.
She teamed up with Tomás Reyes, a speech-recognition engineer who had spent eight years building hearing-aid software, to answer one question: what if the note simply wrote itself, accurately, from the conversation that was already happening?
Annota is the result: built with 140 clinicians across 9 specialties, reviewed by an independent clinical safety board, and designed so the doctor stays firmly in charge of every word.
Inside Annota
A look at the moments that make up a consultation with Annota running quietly in the background.
From the pilot
“I finished clinic and my notes were already done. I actually sat down to dinner with my kids on a Tuesday.”
“The citations sold me. When a parent says something important about their child’s sleep, I can tap the line and hear it again.”
“It handles range-of-motion findings and laterality better than my last human scribe. Procedure notes take me under a minute.”
